1999 Landrover Defender 90 TD5 (99,000 miles) - Watch Video on YouTube
This Defender had its restoration completed in July 2024. The base car was already in good
condition. It spent the last 17 years of its life on a country estate in Cambridgeshire, England
where it was driven less than 400 miles per year. Because it wasn’t driven on salted roads it
avoided becoming rusty and you can see that the chassis and body are in good condition, with no need to hide rust behind metal plating. This 5 cylinder inline diesel TD5 engine is a vast improvement over its predecessor in drivability and power delivery and is a robust reliable engine.
The restoration consisted of:
- Zandvoort Blue Paint with Black Roof & Wheelarches.
